It’s hard to tell when I started using this but it seems like forever and I can’t (or won’t :-P) look at any screen anymore at night without color temperature correction. These days wether you’re working on a nice Apple iMac or a Microsoft Surface this is now a native function. But I am forever grateful for the people from f.lux who pioneered this thing.

Here are a couple of ways to enable it on your specific devices (youtube tutorials from various sources)

OsX - Nightlight
iOS - Nightlight
Windows 10 - Nightlight
Android - Night Mode

A funny thing to note is that F.lux now works with your Phillips Hue lights if your working on a windows machine.

Check it at F.lux

Screen protectors, Hue lighting?
